Akiakane and akiakane

The Internet was wrong so here I am to fix it.

Apparently, there was some misunderstanding. On the one hand we have akiakane, the active singer/illustrator in the nico nico douga community, known for drawing her own music videos to the covers she sings. Which both are pretty awesome.

On the other hand we have Akiakane the now-disbanded (well, for now they only put their gig activities on hold) punk rock girl project led by Moe (previously of Softball), often singing about controversial topics like Tibet, American imperialism or Japanese pilots during the WWII.
And they are pretty awesome too.

Now, to make it clear once and for all, these are two different akiakane, and it becomes clear when you look at their Japanese representations.

The first akiakane is 秋赤音

The second Akiakane is 秋茜

Now, with a sense of significant satisfaction having corrected the internet, I will get back to work.

Thanks Kev for introducing me to 秋茜, and for the clip from their Dutch gig (+ interview)
