Tomorrow is a relative term. But I'm here nevertheless.
A few things happened and it finally feels like new year in entertainment has begun. So let me deal with those things one by one and complain about 2008 while I'am at it.
1. (American) TV
Lost is back...

...and I've been wanting to comment on its quality in 2008 but WAS IS EVEN ON IN 2008? Wiki says yes but it certainly doesn't feel that way. Lost feels like a distant memory of something I had been watching back in Beppu years ago. Would I even care now, I wondered. After all I hated the first part of season 2, plus I used to bitch about the series quite often in season 3 as well. Expectations were high.
..And then I watched the recap show a bit, saw the two premiere episodes of season five yesterday and I was a believer again. Lost is the best show on television. Lost and House are saving humanity. Everyone on these shows, every member of the cast who stayed till now is absolutely fantastic. See, that's the thing. The story changes, and the characters evolve. Unlike in

Prison Break, where they all act basically the same and everything, even the major swerves and twist are predictable. Except
Alex Mahone, who is the only believable character, and a badass too. Saying that, I do enjoy the series most of the time. I had my doubts when this
clumsy and obnoxious teacher became a
clumsy and obnoxious FBI agent, but it got better in time.
Speaking of recurring roles, how could they give a role of
crying bitchy wife of the paramedic in Sarah Connor Chronicles to wonderful
Penelope? That sure was awful. Fortunately didn't last long.
Sarah Connor was ok most of the times, rarely briliant and sometimes really shitty. I wish they had a clear direction where they're going. And realize that no one is going to feel sorry for the
chubby blonde. I mean really.
House was House. Not a bad word about House.
If in two or three years, when Lost finally ends and we're not happy with how it ended, we'll always have House.

Oh, what else. South Park was solid, Raw and Smackdown weren't bad, Impact wasn't good, Stewart and Colbert were brilliant as usual and Ultimate Fighter was somewhat repetitive, but mostly entertaining.
God knows I watched too much tv last year.
